Lucas Tieleman and Sander de Jonge are the founders of 94Wines. Lucas and Sander have the ambition to approach existing traditional markets with a fresh look. This fresh look is predominantly focused on the rapid innovative internet market. They try to create new markets by combining the latest technology with an existing market.

The traditional wine market is a difficult market to enter for a newcomer. In order to establish yourself it is essential to have an excellent knowledge of wine. Lucas and Sander are therefore very proud to have unified their knowledge with the Baarsma Wine Group Holding (BWGH). BWGH is one of the biggest wine distributors in Europe and has the expertise when it comes to distribution networks and the selection of quality wines.

On 10 November 2009 the cooperation has been crowned with the launch of 94Wines. The consumer will discover the wines from the 94Wines assortment on a whole new level. 94Wines has developed an unique online wine experience. 94Wines even brings the wines directly to your mobile phone.
